Laura Jane Wilkie has suffered a playing injury to her left hand so is unable to perform.
Hailing from Tain in the Highlands, Laura Wilkie is a highly sought after musician who has garnered praise and respect for her unique style of playing – which has roots in the Highland fiddle tradition but influence from an eclectic range of genres. She plays strong rhythmical, ancient Highland and Hebridean songs on the fiddle accompanied by guitar virtuoso Ian Carr. Expect a beguiling, playful and energetic evening of music from this dynamic duo.
