Mike & Solveig play experimental folk music, original songs and instrumentals reminiscent of The Incredible String Band, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Moondog, Syd Barrett, Bert Jansch, Ivor Cutler etc.
Mike Hastings sings and plays guitar, banjo and strumstick. He has played with American psych-folk singer Scott Fagan, Will Oldham (Bonnie Prince Billy) and Peter Daltrey from Kaleidoscope (UK). His main band is the psychedelic rock band The Trembling Bells. He also plays in the band of Mike Heron (The Incredible String Band).
Solveig Askvik sings and plays the fiddle and glockenspiel and was previously also part of Heron's band, but left when she moved back to Bergen in Norway

Jim McAteer is a guitarist and singer whose previous gigs include supporting slots for Martin Carthy, Wizz Jones, Davey Graham, Robin Williamson, Mike Heron and John Renbourn.
Katherine Priddy is a dream weaver, a hypnotic storyteller and fragile performer who encapsulates the rich and often solemn side of artists gone by such as Nick Drake and John Martyn, delivering each word with a genuine warmth and charm.
