Positively Fourth Street: A Celebration of Bob Dylan 1961-1965

8pm (Doors 7.30)

A celebration of the early days of one of music’s greatest icons. Bob Dylan arrived in New York in 1961 and immediately established himself as one of the most provocative and poetic performers on the scene.  Positively Fourth Street is a multimedia show that celebrates these early developmental days.  Drawing from Dylan’s first five albums and with footage from the time, stories around the songs, as well as the songs themselves, this is a trip back to a time when music was in the cafes, and revolution was in the air.

Ben Bowden is a seasoned performer who has played all over Europe in various bands and groups. He currently plays Paul Simon in the touring show, The Sounds of Simon. He has a deep interest in music from the early 60s, especially Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Phil Ochs“Expert.” (BBC The One Show) “World class.” (The Times). “A musical feast.” Chris Lloyd (Talon: Best of Eagles)
