Growing up in Jackson, Tennessee but now residing in her adopted home of Nashville, Erin Rae walks the line between old-school folk and modern Americana, filled with pedal steel, vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, bright bursts of melody and plenty of space.
Erin, whose genre-fusing mix of traditional folk and indie-rock has landed her collaborations with artists like Margo Price and Andrew Combs (not to mention critical acclaim from some of the world’s top music media, including Rolling Stone, NPR, and the BBC) is finally stepping out into the spotlight with her new album Putting On Airs.
“This album will bewitch and enlighten the nation.” (Ann Powers, NPR)
“I was instantly transfixed.” (John Paul White)
“Hits your heart hard with humble beauty.” (The Line Of Best Fit).
